Admin Dave about my question why the rec feature was disabled (all text in Italic is his): "I took it away because of all of the off-topic posts, personal attacks, bickering, etc. You can turn it back on of you wish in Modify Subject. I also added some bans and issued a couple of suspensions. On both sites." I'll leave it off for now because I agree with him. "All of the public discussion of bans needs to stop. No votes. No announcements. Anyone who wishes to discuss a ban can do so with you privately. There is way too much dialog that leads to personal attacks and bickering. If the post relates to AMD it is on-topic. If it doesn't, it is off-topic. I agree with that too. That's why I stopped the votes a month or so ago, and also started almost all suspensions via PM. I saw that it works better that way. I only explained a permanent ban, and a temporary suspension in which I had to address a couple of issues. I'll keep doing it this way. Regards, Rink
