There are people who are very successful at a particular task by being very analytical; at the same time as there are others who will do very well at the same task by drawing on their intuition and experience.

You don't seem to be able to accept the existence of the latter, perhaps because they often can't give a rationally argued reason for every action they take.

This reminds me of the debates between the qualitative and quantitative methodologists back in the days when I was an academic. Personally, I was happy to use either or both approaches depending on the question I was studying (which meant I was sometimes disdained by both sides).

Another great example was my two mentors from my days of sailboat racing as a teenager. One was very analytical, so I learned much by listening to his detailed explanations of tactics before, during, and after we were on the boat. The other was very taciturn, but I learned just as much from him by watching what he did while we were on the boat and occasionally forcing him to grudgingly and tersely answer a question or two.
