re: Once again, Congress is talking about clamping down on subprime lenders. How much do you want to bet nada happens.......again? Ahhhh, the virtues of capitalism........can there be anything better?!! The FDIC (to an extent most don't imagine) and the Fed contol lending standards. Congress has zilch control. There has been so much cheap money floating around that people were begging people to borrow. Revert to the mean, and past it. Payback time.
