while at the money exchanger for walking around rmb cash, I could not help but take note of the point-of-sale display for maple leaf bullion, and could not control my urge to just accumulate another few days of future expenditure, to mineralize excess capital and surplus savings.
the coins felt solid and substantive in hand, cool sensation, and peace of mind inducing.
the folks from many lands watched as I took possession, all puzzled, wondering what kind of idiot would part with cash for gold, as if gold was plastic flowers.
there were no indians or chinese around the counter ... so, of course, that drops the chance for appreciation and understanding drops by 95%
... the lack of understanding will change, and the longer it takes, the better for gold bulls.
short term, I am already loaded with physical, and have full position on certificate gold; have full tranche of aflease souther cross (uranium and gold play), wish to add more but the beast does not pull back ;0/
I am willing to buy more paper gold but am holding fire because of above stated positions.
I am enthusiastic on the physical and hope to have a chance again at the juniors. I notice global gold production is heading down soon enough ... bullish. |
