Gee, another "confession": nytimes.com Of course, in a real trial, with a real defense attorney, all of these guys would be carefully examined to determine if they were mentally competent to stand trial after years of torture. It seems to me if these guys were happily ready to confess to everything, they would have done so years ago. Nothing like being subjected to the tender mercies of the CIA to change one's mind - or would "alter" one's mind be closer to the truth.
