Paul... I will also wait for Deschutes. I'm a real computer nut. I have 4 active computers (one P200MMX, two P100, and a P120 portable) in my home office. I've got to be the easiest sell in the world when it comes to buying a new computer, so if Intel can't sell me they are going to have a lot of trouble getting owners of P133 and faster computers to upgrade to their current offerings. For this reason I am not anticipating any rapid price run up in INTC until maybe next summer. The upward P/E adjustment is mostly complete. Whether the K6 or comparable pPentium is faster depends on which benchmark test you choose. zdnet.com In a real world context, there probably isn't much difference between them, unless you do a lot of floating point calculations. I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade, just being realistic.
