TJ - You are way, WAY too pesimistic. Remember the world has survived oil boycotts, S&L blow ups, telecom bubbles, Bre-X, Australian blow up, Asia currency crisis, LTCM, Monica Lewinsky, Mexican Peso Crisis, Argentinian defaults 1 through 4, Tsunami, Kobe earthquake, Barings being blown up by Nick Leeson, World Com, Enron and September 11 attacks, and a bunch of others.

Subprime will turn out to be less serious than either the Mexican Peso crisis or the S&L problem.

Subprime will still be serious. It isn't peak oil or bird flu.

I am planning do move out of my bear funds after the next big dip, or the end of March.
