Jim, I just finished talking to Dr Babish. He is truly a very exciting person who is very passionate about the work they do. The conference call about C-MOS Protein will occur next week, maybe Wed. The reason for the delay is the slowness of NIH. You will be impressed! No other company is working with C-MOS for HIV, only cancer (1986-78). This will be a blockbuster as PRLN will have the new NIH model. The compassionate use trial will be increased through combination of various medical school studies (and patients). PRLN is reviewing 15 press releases for publication over the next couple of months. I had a discussion about how a small company like PRLN can compete with the Mercks etc. He said that PRLN can run rings around them and that creativity, not money, is the reason. Large companies shut down creativity, I know!! PRLN now has compounds that are much superior to the major drug companies drugs that PRLN won’t even pursue. Dr. Babish said that PRLN had some blockbuster things coming that will delight us all. He said to “put on our seatbelts”. Our company (PRLN) marches to a different drummer where the love of helping mankind and the scientific pursuit is much more important than the “drug price gouging” principles of the majors. I know that Wall Street could have a problem with that, but success will always draw investment. Am I turned on or what?
