I'll admit I listen to NPR in the car.

I generally enjoy Morning Edition, and manage to filter out the liberal bias. Some of their non-political shows actually are enjoyable. Car Talk is my absolute favorite. Been listening to Tom and and Ray Magliozzi since I lived in Boston and they were just getting started in the late 70's.

Fact is, I got my alias - Alan Smithee - from an NPR program.

The shows I absolutely cannot abide are On the Media and BBC World Report. On the Media is particularly insidious. The bias of the host shows through in the stories they run and in his questioning of guests.

As for the BBC, it is, well... the BBC. What else do you expect?

Going back to Garrison Keillor, the man is stuck in the 70's.
