Clinton lied about a personal matter, not a matter of national defense, political corruption or war-peace. Clinton did lie. Or actually fudged the truth (same thing) but it was such a trivial matter, who cared? Consensual sex is totally legal. It was just a personal embarrassment matter which never should have been investigated in the first place. Shall we put Bush on the stand and ask him about Tammi Phillips the Houston stripper he's alleged to have had a long affair with while married? Do you think that's worth congress's time to investigate?
