Czech intelligence said the Atta story was a total fabrication. I was in Prague about a month after 9-11 and read it in The Prague Post, the little English newspapers there. I was also in London on that trip and talked to the aide to a major Saudi Prince. He told me "all the guys in Dubai knew something big was coming " (before 9-11) so apparently did Bush-Cheney, but they did nothing. The 8-6-01 warning hand-delivered to Bush in Crawford was about as dire as you get. It demanded action ASAP. Bush did absolutely nothing. Try lying your way out of that one. PS: It is likely that Cheney had a rightwing CIA faction panting several phony stories in the Euro press. One was the Yellowcake in Niger forgery. The Italian government was at the time friendly with Bush-cheney. So were the Poles. They might have planted the Atta story. But it was ridiculous because Atta was in the US at the time being followed by the FBI. Records prove he was in the US the whole time. the Iraqis also had zero connection with Al Qaida. Zero.
