Funding for Global Warming in the US alone has shot up tremendously in the last few years -- see how much of it you can collect if you seriously doubt there is a crisis! Message 23373652 Just keep spewing it, Nadine. There was a lot of money spent to set things up to measure the solar constant directly, but then W got elected and it all got flushed down the toilet. A fairly small amount compared to what's being flushed down the toilet in Iraq, but still pretty substantial.
