TJ, eplay made a credible case for how the thing will develop. What I believe will happen is that there are quite a few people trying to bundle their bad business with the subprime for the case of bailout they get a share of the easy moolah!

Thus the idea of spreading this to the whole economy of the whole world.

I call it: hiding under the umbrella of the bad news. Back in 1986 I was shocked -I was in Halifax- to see a Bank of Nova Scotia declaring that their bad results were due to the debt crisis in LATAM!!!

That was clever! You fuck up and then just tell people that the reason if 10.000Km away. You just have to find that reason no matter far fetched it is. Find the bad news and hide underneath.

Remember: it is all about how distorted the information is.
