The spread between highest and lowest bin is what 25% so even the lowest bin will be above Clovertown according to AMD's claims.

Perhaps, but we don't know where that distribution will actually center around. AMD may get zero top bin and the whole bell curve may slide downwards. How many top bin 65nm parts do you see out there now? And as for their claims, they are being intentionally vague so as to not expose their weakness. If they had something to brag about I think they would tell us what it is. The only reason to not clarify their claims is because it would make them look bad. They have every reason to if it made them look good.
