3/16/07 Update
The Bears won another round last week, with the Nasdaq Biotech Index closing Friday down -6.16% YTD (vs. down -4.55% YTD a week ago). The Charity Contest portfolios took a bit less of a hit, with the portfolios' median now down -5.00% YTD (vs. down -4.64% YTD a week ago). At Friday's close, 10 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black and 16 of the 31 were beating the NBI.
Earlier in the week, the COR-heavy portfolios challenged my own portfolio and Wilder's for the glory of being leaders of the pack. But by Friday's close, COR had given up some of its gain and I remained in first place (up 16.3% YTD) and Wilder held on to second place (up 9.7% YTD).
Have a fun weekend everyone!
