This is another classic fallacy of pseudo-scientists of AGW and their cronies. The matter is that more or less accurate instrumental recording of changes does exist only for the last 100 years or so. There is no records of comparable accuracy and spatio-temporal resolution from the distant past - all "proxies" are effectively averages over thousands of years, so all rapid changes are filtered out and cannot be reconstructed. Even more, if those pseudo-scientists discover some rapidly-changing deposits, they tend to declare them as erroneous, contaminated, etc., and ignore them, like certain ice cores in Greenland. Therefore, you have very little grounds to conclude that the current pace of changes is unprecedented, you simply have no data. Please deal with this.

Actually, you need to deal with the fact that we disagree on this issue. Please.....DO deal with that. TIA.
