Plame and Wilson were totally smeared by the GOP rightwing. Absolutely nothing the RNC put out about Plame and Wilson turned out to be true. Nothing. It was all intentional lies and smears to distract the country from the real problem, Bush-Cheney lying us into Iraq, and the fact that this White House committed treason during war-time. GHW Bush Outing a CIA agent is "the most insidious type of treason". GHW Bush also called Joe Wilson a "great American hero" for being the last man out of Baghdad and rescuing the human shield hostages.
