wsa.to - hi LC, we looked at Western Areas some time ago, not deeply however so take the following as first impressions only -
It's not a small company, market cap of approx 750m if memory serves, has an excellent history of management, but arguably a lesser leverage to nickel as has bmc.v [to which we were comparing it at the time] ... lesser risk as well of course, if nickel were to turn back hard, or explo success of Lanfranchi be suddenly at an end
Brilliant's minority interest in Lanfranchi was PMed to me as an objection last december, i made this post in support of my opinion that since the Junk brothers remain quite involved at Kambalda, and major shareholders of bmc, 25% of the JV is considerably more significant than it might be otherwise - Message 23088857
Not saying wsa.to is any lesser, don't know, going to take another look at it asap ... plan to do some more note-taking and thinking on rng.to this weekend too, for one thing i'm wondering to what degree upcoming Tasiast production is priced into the stock, if any .... not much, maybe not any at this point, is my tentative impression |
