Dear Mr. Zahran,

In regards to your complaint, since you have not provided any details on the thread, we are bound by confidentiality rules from giving any specific details. If you choose to be more specific with your posts, we will present a detailed response on the thread.

In the meantime, we can clarify a few general points. This dispute started when there was a data entry error made in your account. This error was quickly spotted and corrected. In the intervening time you chose to take advantage of this obvious error and make trades based on this mistaken portfolio. The following day, after we corrected the error, you were told that the current portfolio is correct and that you will be responsible for the position that you created. Any subsequent loss is entirely your responsibility.

Datek is in business to keep customers happy. Therefore we are sincerely distressed by what has happened you. We never like to see customers lose money in this fashion. Even so, we cannot cover customer losses from problems like this. The facts remain that we corrected the error immediately and we told you that you must take responsibility for your positions.
