Cut the "socialist" BS. Bush is the biggest social spender in the history of the planet, and he's so corrupt and incompetent about it he's going to be leaving us somethinmg like 5 trillion in extra debt when he goes.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with well-run social programs. There are many areas where the government/and the people, not corporations or profiteers should be running things. That has been proven all over the world.

for instance, compare the German or Canadian health care systems to ours. Theirs are much better and cheaper, except for the top 2% of course who can afford anything they want. But they don't need our help anyway. Everything Bushies want to do seems to be to reward that top 2%. The rest of the 98% can go jump in a lake as far as they're concerned.
