France to inaugurate fastest rail service to date by Joris Fioriti

France inaugurates on Thursday its fastest rail service to date that will see trains shooting from Paris to the eastern city of Strasbourg at a record speed of 320 kilometres (200 miles) per hour.

The fastest train I've been on was the TGV run from Paris to Lyon........that one goes around 150 mph. Its amazing......its so fast, it makes you sick when you first look outside through the window. One of my German friends in London laments that he can't take a fast train to Germany from London. So he goes by plane.

Did you see that the top speed of the TGV is 346 mph? Can you imagine going that fast in a train? It must be crazy!
