Ted, there isn't any particularly good reason to think that Gore, or Clinton (either one), or McCain, or Edwards, or Kerry, or anyone other politician, would have succeeded in capturing bin Laden if they had been president.

On the contrary, all those men are more likely to have been successful at capturing bin laden because they have been generally competent throughout their lives.
