Correct as far as political/civil rights and public jobs are concerned; inaccurate, however, as far as corporate South Africa is concerned --most of SA business/farming is still white-ruled....

"We will be doing Hindu rituals, and they will walk around a holy fire seven times," said a Hindu priest, who declined to be named, before entering the palace.
