Daniel,

1. It is a good idea to study options before you take the plunge.
2. You don't have to start by playing the complex strategies.
3. IMHO, the most important thing in short/medium term options trades is to cut your winners. This is the opposite of stocks, where you want to cut losses, and let winners run. Steve/Carl/etc., please comment on this notion.
