I'm not sure I understand what you mean by, "I will take a wait and see approach." I was trying to say that in my opinion, Taiwan appears to be taking all the actions necessary (building fabs) to insure that they will be a major player in the semiconductor manufacturing biz, and IMO they will probably be a powerhouse. However, the chip companies who operate there may or may not make money every year. In all likelihood, they will make boatloads of money some years and breakeven to losses other years, depending on market conditions.
