Seriously, here are some good longs IMHO: Medarex, Genzyme Transgenics,
Coherent Communications, and Logicon. Puts: Dell, Gateway, and
Compaq out to Jan. Atmel if it gets back near 30. Computer Assoc.
when it hits new highs. Micron on up days, though we are in the end
game on this one. The Ascend, Shiva, USRX, and Cascade quartet on
any big uptick. MUEI can go either way. Gateway stank the house out
while Dell blew down the doors. They don't have an SDRAM machine and
that may have hurt them. They had a lousy quarter last time out when
Dell was printing money, but the one thing MUEI is not is consistent.
Their recovery business also stinks right now. So, the answer is, I'm
waiting to see. If they have a good quarter and the stock goes up,
I'm short. If not, I don't really want to play it at $13. Not
enough to gain, absolutely. MB
