Composite Technology's Cable Subsidiary Granted Key Patent Monday March 19, 8:05 am ET
IRVINE, Calif., March 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Composite Technology Corporation (CTC) (OTC Bulletin Board: CPTC - News) announced that its subsidiary, CTC Cable Corporation, has been granted United States Patent 7,179,522 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This patent is directed to important aspects of CTC Cable's ACCC core and ACCC conductor, and represents the company's fifth US Patent grant. Benton Wilcoxon, CEO stated, "This patent is fundamental to our company's intellectual property strategy. In addition to addressing the current composition of our ACCC core, this patent encompasses and contemplates the use of a broad range of composite materials that may be used to produce future enhancements, while substantially restraining the commercialization of potentially competing products.
