Hi heinz44 - Thanks, I had run into that one along the way .... In trying to fathom the meaning of life .... i.e. these failures will take us down these failures won't take us down and are over-hyped and the myraid sub-plots ..... * the one you just posted * foreigners are sitting on a gazzillion CMO's * 2 million foreclosures - or pick your own number * and the rest of it - which I have forgotten I've dumbed it down to something that seems remote but ain't .... at the end of the day all this stuff is gonna show up in lower or normal retail sales .... (even though the subject at hand is banking) this could be a bad number - but I recall that retail sales drive 70% of GDP (I can't prove that with a link right now or maybe never - but I seem to recall that %) so where-ever it goes - we're all going there and dependent on those results - we'll know the damage or not .... anyway - my dum ass 2 cents .... regards, John
