I think Americans who do not live on the border, or in the Canadian Provinces of Hawaii, Florida, and Arizona would be completely amazed at the number of Canadian Names inscribed on that black stone. Life on the American Canadian border pretty well ignores the ditch. Tightening the border, although it is Americas right to do so, is going to be an economic disaster for tourism of both countries. Niagara Falls Canada which was the first to report this year said Americans coming to Canada was the lowest ever. This represents a great publicity win for the Muslims. Hopefully the Canadian and American governments will recognise this and arrange aid for both Niagara Falls, Canada and Niagara Falls, New York. I will know in a few weeks what tourism for the year looks like, although it seems so far like a much lower year than last year, although Koreans and Japanese look like they may hold steady. So far my friend the BusDriver is down about 300 10 day passengers for this summer, so he is scrambling to get 3 day all Canadian trips rather than 10 Canada/US trips.
