Sarmad, all mem manufacturers are at or even often below 65nm. The top manufacturers that produce logic chips like CPU's are at 65nm (logic designs are way more complex than memory designs). In this category Intel was much faster than all the rest.

Intel switched to rely more on automated design tools as with the increasing complexity of a chip design it actually started working more as an advantage. IBM did that a couple of years before them. At least AMD, Intel, and IBM probably to a lesser extent rely heavily on hand optimized designs (this takes longer but makes a chip faster). Intel simply has more engineers.
