Yes they are. But are they successful in getting acceptable yield/bin ? With exception of Intel ?

For instance, IBM starting Cell manufacturing at 65 nm a week ago is not the same as mastering the process. And from what is visible of it, neither does AMD's effort so far.

IBM announced today that it is beginning production a 65nm version of the Cell processor, which is a good bit smaller than the 90nm version used today.
