i remember the mounties stopping me twice. one in new brunswick , they had road blocks up on rte2.. escaped convicts. mountie told me the car behind was a mountie and said i should slow down on my driving. i said yes sir. and dropped back to 70 from 80. wasn't as lucky on pei. had to go to traffic court and pay a fine. out late at night square dancing and coming back at 2am went through a town of four buildings and mounty on my back right away. gave me warning and then i told him i was there for four more days when he asked me.. crossed out warning and put down court appearance. screwed up a day of my vacation.
