Yes, well that is not a large volume product. So we have no idea what production difficulties (or ease) they have with it.

Of the one IBM mass market processor, Cell for PS3, I've read that yield was under 20%. And it cost their customer Sony 100's of 1000's or millions of lost sales last holiday season.

The item of interest is not whether someone can do 65 nm. It is whether IBM's consortium process is competitive. Supposedly, Sony lost money on their game machine.

And it doesn't look like IBM's research customer AMD is doing wonderfully either.
