No, not at all....I think how people make decisions, build alliances, deal with people to whom they have made promises and commitments.....its all relevant to telling you what kind of person someone is. But a tough family life growing up, a difficult marriage, a challenging military experience....these are all formative events and go to who the person becomes.

It's all in the mix....certainly how effectively a person governs and leads is a huge part of the mix too.

Now, if a person has been through three marriages you might say they should be smart enough to quit tryin'. They are not good at it. <g>

But a disqualifier? No. Relevant...yes.
