Thank you for the explanation of the benefits of SOI. One question, why do AMD's shipped 65 nm SOI products seem so anemic compared to Intel's bulk silicon products ?

Yes I do. And I think unless AMD manages to ship some competitive processors this year, there won't be much left to destroy. They would have bled to a mere shadow of their former fearsome self.
