Compared to JFK, Obama falls far short. He's scrawny and unattractive. He waffles - as in his AIPAC flip/flop from two weeks ago. He's a middle of the roader, whom everyone in the Senate seems to want on their team, but no one can say what he's done. I can't find that he served in the military, let alone became the hero who was JFK.

Here's the rest of that excerpt from JFK's speech:

"Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world."

...born of this century." JFK was elected in '61, right. Even if you're inclined to believe that JFK's eloquent speech can be compared to Obama's - baby boomers time has passed - it can't. The oldest baby boomers are 60 or 61. JFK's speech didn't exclude people that age. I could change my mind. I have in the past. Right now, I'd vote for Jeb Bush over Obama. Although, I'd vote for Obama over Lieberman.
