Pacific Fuel Cell Corp. Announces Start of Production in Ohio Plant

TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pacific Fuel Cell Corp. (OTCBB:PFCE - News) is pleased to announce that production of bipolar plates has begun in its Willoughby, Ohio manufacturing plant. We are now producing detailed plates for several leading companies in the fuel cell industry. The engine of the fuel cell system is called a fuel cell stack. The stack consists of several layers of MEA's (membrane electrode assemblies), GDL's (gas diffusion layers) and bipolar plates. The number of layers depends on the power requirement for the fuel cell. The quality and cost of these components are very critical for the entire industry.
