I am fine with single people, or even a long term non-married relationship- but if one marries, one is saying (I think, unless one changes the service)- that one is committing for life. There is no reason to make such a commitment if you don't intend to honor it. I can understand making one such mistake, but several? No. I can't really understand that. We all value different things, and I value people who do what they say they will do, and who honor their promises. IMO a man or woman who steps away from several promises either doesn't have a good idea of what he or she is doing in the first place, or isn't very honorable. I don't mind in the least if people know themselves well enough to not make the promises in the first place. I would see that as a mark of good sense.

That's just me, but I can't imagine I'm the only one uncomfortable with someone who appears to view wives as a disposable commodity (and I'd view a woman with 3 serial husbands in the same way, fwiw).
