What's irrelevant, Tim? That Israel has violated Lebanon's sovereignty on any number of occasions. If you can't or won't control your own territory and its used by other powers as a base to wage war, you lose your sovereignty doesn't and shouldn't make your country immune to the counterattack. The real violator of Lebanese sovereignty in this case was the PLO.
