TXN is not paying Q a cash royalty. On either flavor CDMA or WCDMA. TI is selling WCDMA chpsets to NOK and has about 50% of the market. The license in jeopardy is with NOK not TXN. The suit with TXN was a whole different matter. TI disclosed publicly that they had a royalty free license which violated the Q, TXN agreement of non disclosure. Q then tried to cancel their license with TI. However Q was not able to prove damages and was not allowed to terminate license agreement and the suit was dropped. Q's 5% royalty is charged on the wholesale price of the cellphone which is about $205.
