when Zander was asked a direct question about Palm. Did you catch his answer?

The analyst started the question by talking about Zander withdrawing from the CTIA keynote and used that as a segway to Palm and rumors about a LBO. Zander stated his withdrawal from CTIA was just based on a family matter (he made it sound like he just wanted to get some time away) and he couldnt believe that he was even talking about it.

I dont believe that there was a direct comment on Palm, but it is hard for me to imagine a takeover after the warning. OTOH, if Zander's explanation is true, somebody dropped the ball in their PR/IR department. They should have known that rumors were going to swirl if Zander withdrew from a keynote at CTIA.
