These same hysterical people were yelling about the impending ice age because the temperature from 1942 to 1975 had dropped like 3 degrees. The majority of the temperature increase in the 20th century happened from 1900 to 1942.

Now if CO2 was causing this temperature change one would have expected the period before 1942 to be stable or cooling since our emission of CO2 exploded with the massive industrial ramp up after WWII. So CO2 was greatly increased and temp decreased. Curious.

CO2 levels trail temperature change by like 70 years. CO2 follows temp because of the amount of CO2 being absorbed or released by the oceans, the largest source of CO2. Cooler weather caused by reduced sun spot activity causes the oceans to absorb more CO2. Higher temperature caused by increased sun spot activity causes the oceans to give off CO2 causing increased CO2 in the atmosphere. There is a lag because the oceans are so massive it takes close to 70 years before they will start heating/cooling based on atmospheric temp.

Sun spot activity by the way also explains why the polar ice caps on Mars are also melting due to higher temps there. Not even the massive amount of CO2 given off by Gore and his home and private jets and limos will explain the melt off on Mars. The sun is really the only thing that makes sense.

Now anybody not caught up in the cult of global warming will realize the truth of this post. It really is the only explanation for our warm up and cooling periods throughout the history of the earth.
