Will someone please give me the benefit of their wisdom and explain to me and my simple mind why the spread Tuesday and Wednesday was in excess of 3/4 point while the stock was getting shorted and the price was falling with all those little, pissy 100 share trades down. And while you're at it, notice that it's back to 1/4 point now that the price has somewhat stabilized in the low 47's. (I say stabilized cause that's where it's been for the last couple of hours. I guess that's about as stable as it gets!) This is midday, Thursday.

I'm all ears.
