Steve - Is there realiable 3rd party memory that works with your systems. You can get O2, Octane, Origin, Onyx, and Onyx2 memory from Kingston, and maybe others. Believe it or not, I think you can actually buy O2 and Octane memory @ Walmart, but I'm sure they'd have to order it ;) Is asm in your OS?... I am just curious. There's assembly in almost every OS, for atomicity reasons. I was (and still am) under the impression that most of 3.x and lots of 92 were in assembly, though. I think (but I'm not sure) that most of Irix is in C++. -justinb
