Buttercup Mountain is in Wimberley, Texas. We call it the Hill Country. I have not looked it up before. The picture is similar I think. The valley areas usually have rivers running through them. Lots of rock cliffs along them. Great places to go picnicing and swimming, but water is very deep. Tubing is popular in that area also. Many of the college kids from San Marcos and Austin go tubing on Canyon Lake on the weekends and Spring Break with their coolers floating behind their tubes. Population is growing leaps and bounds and big resorts moving in. Lots of time share condos in Canyon Lake and more being built each year.
