Why I'm here-

I'm an old school-old bastard. I've found what little success I have by doing 3 things.

1. WORKING HARD- and LONG.
2. SAVING- more of a % of my income over the years than anyone else I know.
3. READING- since going to college in my era was not a 'requisite'- all I have is a HS Diploma, but I got a hellofa library and read everything from the Financial Times to Gary North and Lew Rockwell- to SliderOnTheBlack <vbg>.

I make my own decisions. I dont follow any gurus and thats not why I settled in here. Here's why I settled in here-

1. The guy has PERSONALITY- in F'n spades.
2. Love him, hate him, or leave him - he's a smart cookie.
3. He is an orignal thinker.
4. I've follwed his rants, ravings and ramblings since the Cityscape days on Yahoo and the guy has been in oil when Oil was hot, in Gas when no one else was. In gold when everyone else wasn't and what really sold me- (because I've a 20+ year love affair with Silver) was the SOB's jump from gold (when he was Silicon Investors #1 gold poster) to Palladiem and Silver- and nearly from the day- it doubled and left gold in the dust.
5. He was nearly alone last May in calling the top and in calling commoditys a SPECULATION.
6. He calls it like he sees it. He's not mindless cheerleader reciting the same end of the world BS for 20 years and he has no problem in going from the biggest gold bull on the internet- to the biggest bear.
7. And he's wiggled and waggled the trading range in gold for the last year better than any 5 other wannabe's on gold-eagle, kitco and the other cheerleading sites put together.

That's why I am here.

Now- is he an asshole?
-Yes- quite often.

Is he an arrogant pr!ck?
- can be.

Is he self indulgent?
- often.

Has he given more original and actionable- EXTREMELY profitable advice than virtually anyone else?
- yes and clearly so- in my book.

And perhaps most importantly (now bear in mind that my prostate aint what it used to be)- the sonofabitch has literally made me piss my pants 3- maybe 4 times in uncontrolled laughter.

And I didnt have to pay a damn dime for it either.

That my .02 cents.
