It is a fact the whole affair began with Novak writing that Plame worked for the CIA in a column. It is a fact that Fitzgerald knew Armitage was Novak's informant because Novak and Armitage told him so. It is a fact that Fitzgerald didn't charge Armitage with a crime. Doesn't take much intelligence to realize Fitzgerald doesn't think Armitage broke a law. It is a fact that neither Libby nor anyone else in the WH informed any reporters that Plame was CIA. Only Armitage (and Wilson) did so.
