Game over. It is my increasing sense from contacts both inside and outside the company that the cost benefit for deploying this product has changed dramatically. Apparently the product is more complex to deploy than the company hoped and the selling cycle is more difficult. since the deployment is comparable to a full scale operating system change, why not just migrate to NT or some NC or Citrix based solution. The story may be salvagable if the management cuts the work force in half (or more) and goes on a cash consrvation strategy. IMO the board on this non-vc backed company is weak and dominated by insiders who will allow the country club to remain until the cash runs out. I'm cutting my losses and running, and i'm glad to be out above 4 on this fiasco.
