Ish, you sound like a guy who would be good to have around in a pinch.

I thought I was doing good to shoot a light bow when I was a kid. I was actually pretty good with it at Boy Scout camp.

I saw a display of bows from Mongol warriors. They were very short because they were used in mounted warfare. I'd like to see the shoulders on the guys who could draw them. I bet they were massive.

Last year I saw a gentleman at a Lewis and Clark event (At Traveller's Rest) demonstrate how he thought native Americans made bows out of bighorn sheep horns. Those horns are about as tough as an organic substance can get, and when fashioned into a bow they are very powerful.
