No. Especially not the kids. 5 and 8 year olds don't get a say in whether their father abandons them to pursue his dream while their mom is dying. He has a duty to his family that isn't released by getting them to say go ahead and pursue your dream. you are merely seizing upon what you think is an opportunity to slam someone who you oppose politically, right? Your feigned 'concern' for 'his familiy' is just a ploy, right?) I would feel exactly the same way if Edwards were a Republican that I liked. In fact, I've said before that Jeb Bush shouldn't run for Pres given his daughters drug problem - and in that case the daughter is grown now so his duty is less. I knew liberals are unable to understand the concepts of duty and responsibility but its things like this that show it. After all, everybody dies. He can tell the kids that when he calls from Tuscon. ------------- Being charitable to Edwards, I assume he and his wife are in denial and he will change his decision when reality sets in.
